We were getting ready this last fall to head out hunting, and I started asking my hunting buddies about their gear. A few of them have the same guns they have used for many seasons. A few friends prefer to change it up as they are in search of the best firearm for each situation.

While we were chatting I started to realize that even if someone had an older gun or brand new one, everyone still wanted updated parts. The ones with older rifles had no problem maintaining their guns, but preferred to try out new scopes, grips, cases, and more. Some even choose to switch out the trigger assemblies and firing pins on their own to keep their rifles performing their best.

Depending on where you live and what you are hunting for, the seasons will always be different and require different equipment. We are fortunate to have immediate access to online shops like R&B Arms where we can grab the latest firearm equipment, or order some customization for our rifles- either Cerakote or Stippling depending on your preference.

You can find just about any type of part you need, but one thing that’s hard to get ahold of is ammo these days. Issues with supply chains, some changes to regulations, and public sentiment has created a situation where gun ammunition is in short supply.

In preparation for next hunting season, I’m telling my buddies to start buying a box or two at a time whenever they can to make sure we all have what we need. Because, if we don’t have ammunition, we can’t go hunting at all, even with the best accessories.

Maybe this year we’ll get lucky and some of the issues we’ve seen over the last few seasons will be resolved and everyone can buy what they need without limits. We’re always prepared for what’s ahead, but some of our friends have been stuck without ammo in the past. I mentioned R&B Arms USA, which is one of my favorite online shops. They just announced their new ammo list and they are helping people find and get the ammo they need by announcing their new shipments. I’m telling everyone I know to go jump on the list on their website.

I hope you and your friends are prepared for next season! If you will be joining our group, it would be greatI’d love to hear more about the equipment you are using. Here’s to a great season, y’all!
